Gigabit Ethernet Cameras

Gigabit Ethernet Cameras are used in microscopy applications that require multiple cameras, high data transfer rates, or long cable length. GigE Cameras are cameras that use standard Cat 5 or Cat 6 cables for transferring data. GigE Cameras feature up to 1000Mb/s data transfer rates, along with a max cable length of 100m. Standard Ethernet hardware can be used for multiple Gigabit Ethernet Camera setups, but overall bandwidth needs to be considered.
