GenICam and USB3 Vision Compliant

Allied Vision Alvium USB 3 are compact, lightweight, and high-performance machine vision cameras that are GenICam and USB3 Vision compliant, making integration into Windows, Linux, and Linux ARM systems easy. In-stock Alvium USB camera models are currently available today while all other models are ready to order all year with standard lead times of 2 to 4 weeks thanks to the availability of their unique application-specific integrated circuit (ASIC). High-volume delivery with fast lead time achievable for selected products. This is in comparison to the extremely long lead times for cameras utilizing field programmable gate arrays (FPGA) currently experiencing severe supply chain issues.

ALVIUM® System-on-a-chip (SoC) technology features an on-board image processing library (IPL) for image signal processing (ISP) and image correction within the camera at low power consumption. The Alvium comes equipped with the latest imaging sensors such as the Sony 4th Gen Pregius S and On Semi sensors from 0.4 to 24.6 MegaPixels. Alvium’s ease-of-use, high performance, and solid supply chain make the Alvium camera line ideal for integration into both new and existing monochrome, color, and NIR machine vision systems. Camera models are available with C-Mount, CS-Mount, and S-Mount options for both Back Panel and Right Angle connection port orientation configurations. Partial housing and board-level versions are also available upon request.

Allied Vision Logo Edmund Optics

Allied Vision and Edmund Optics have partnered to reduce extremely long, supply chain-related lead times for machine vision cameras, down to 2 to 4 weeks, by increasing accessibility and availability of the Alvium USB camera family, now and throughout 2022.
