The Spectrolight Mighty Light Tunable Illuminator is a compact, low-noise light source operated at a color temperature of 2900K that provides visible and near infrared (NIR) output from 350 - 2500nm. This illuminator uses a tungsten halogen lamp and can produce up to 2 Watts of output with a low output noise of ±0.5% thanks to an integrated control board. Edmund Optics® offers the Mighty Light and a variety of accessories that allow it to be easily tuned to a specific wavelength, fiber coupled, coupled to a microscope, homogenized, and collimated.
