Near Infrared (NIR) Detection YAGLASS-T Filters convert near-infrared (NIR) light between 900 - 1070nm to visible light with emission at 550 and 660nm. These nanocrystal doped glass filters emit visible light with as little as 30mW/mm2 of incident light at 1064nm without blooming or requiring pre-charging. The high transparency of the glass allows for beam size, shape, and mode to be easily viewed. NIR Detection YAGLASS-T Filters have a high damage threshold of 51 J/cm2 @ 1064nm, 10ns, making them an ideal alternative to Laser Detection Cards in high power laser applications with NIR lasers including Nd:YAG, Nd:doped, and Yb:doped lasers. NIR Detection YAGLASS-T Filters are available in standard 12.5 and 25mm diameter sizes; please contact us if your application requires custom dimensions.
