Variable Neutral Density (ND) Machine Vision Filters are designed for continuous attenuation of illumination intensity across the visible spectrum. Consisting of two linear polarizers (XP42) in an aluminum mount, one polarizer can be rotated with respect to the other and the transmitted light intensity can be adjusted. Variable Neutral Density (ND) Machine Vision Filters are available with common imaging lens filter threads to allow easy integration into machine vision or photography applications.
